A $350,000 grant to GreenLight Fund Cincinnati is working to transform the lives of people living in high-poverty urban areas by identifying local needs and gaps in services, and then searching to find the most innovative and successful nonprofits in the nation to meet the need.
bi3 is a founding seed partner with other regional organizations and charitable institutions like the Deaconess Foundation, Duke Energy Foundation and Proctor & Gamble in this project. GreenLight Cincinnati currently has two portfolio organizations: Center for Employment Opportunities Cincinnati and Family Independence Initiative Cincinnati.
