Centering Youth to Tackle the Mental Health Crisis

Youth Fellow Amaya Boyd and Interact for Health’s Ross Meyer and Kate Schroder to talk about Greater Cincinnati’s cross-sector, regional strategy to address the youth mental health crisis by engaging hundreds of youth, families, providers and community leaders. Additionally, they explained how funders can navigate tensions in sharing power and collaborating to create bold results.
Centering Equity in Capacity Building
Jennifer Zimmerman, bi3 Vice President of Strategy & Chief Impact Officer, joined Interact for Health’s Michelle Lydenberg, Beech Acres Parenting Center’s Brice Mickey and Design Impact’s Curtis Webb to talk about the Data for Equity Funding Collaborative.
The collaborative is a testing ground for participatory and equitable approaches to grantmaking, capacity building and learning with grantees. Together, they explored key learnings and a streamlined feedback loop that fosters co-design and enhances equity in evaluation. They also discussed practical insights on implementing these innovative strategies.
