Over the past two months, local and national news outlets have featured our community’s efforts to reduce infant mortality, showcasing the power of collective impact here in Hamilton County.
Most recently, PBS Newshour visited bi3 grantee partner Cradle Cincinnati to understand the steps our community is taking to address disparities in infant mortality.
In local news this month, Cincinnati Magazine covered the reduction in infant mortality as part of their Top Doctors 2025 issue, highlighting “The secret? Asking new and expecting mothers what they need, not telling them.”
The “how” was also covered extensively by The Commonwealth Fund in their report titled, “Improving Maternal and Infant Health Through Multisector, Community-Driven Partnerships.”
