YWCA of Greater Cincinnati recently recognized bi3 President and CEO Jill Miller as one of its 2024 Career Women of Achievement Honorees.
This year’s honorees are trailblazers in their fields, each with diverse contributions to our community.
Through Jill’s dedicated efforts, bi3 is a leading health funder with more than $100 million health-focused grants awarded. Jill leads bi3 with trust, transparency and humility—core principles of Trust-based philanthropy, an approach that creates better outcomes through mutual accountability with funders and grant partners.
“Jill has led the organization to a place the Board never thought possible just a few years ago, accomplishing more with her team than foundations with double and triple the staff size,” said her nominators. “bi3 is building collaborative approaches to solves our community’s deep-seated health issues.”
Jill is committed to leading the way to a day when every person has a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible. She is passionate about accelerating birth equity, reducing health disparities, improving youth mental health, and fueling health equity and innovation at Tri-Health, all while building partnerships to accelerate racial and health equity. Jill’s leadership is evident in addressing infant mortality, one of our most significant health crises. Through the collective efforts of maternal and infant health partners that bi3 helped fuel, an estimated 220 babies are alive today in Greater Cincinnati.
Jill claims her creativity, drive, and energy stem from the women who have supported, encouraged, and mentored her throughout her 20-year career.
“Mentors in my life have always encouraged me to push myself to the edge of my comfort zone, my growing edge. I believe mentoring is a way to help close the gender gap in organizational leadership. I am privileged to share my time, talents and learnings with other women. I want my daughters to know they can hold any position and be the change they seek in this world.”
Join the YWCA in honoring all this year’s Career Women of Achievement at the 45th annual Career Women of Achievement Luncheon on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
