Nearly 400 supporters of the Bethesda Foundation and Bethesda North Hospital celebrated the 25th annual Bethesda Lyceum, supporting TriHealth’s Precision Medicine Institute and DNA Discovery with TriHealth.
This no-cost community health research program, fueled by the bi3 Fund, helps patients learn how their DNA may influence their risks for certain cancers and heart disease, empowering more personalized, proactive care.

In 2022, bi3 awarded TriHealth a $4.3 million grant to support their launch of the region’s first formalized multi-disciplinary Precision Medicine Institute, giving tens of thousands of tristate patients access to customized, preventive and potentially lifesaving genetic care. The launch built on previous bi3 funding to train clinicians on using precision medicine and integrating patients’ genomic indicators within their electronic records.
