Bethesda Inc. President & CEO Jill Miller recently joined more than 40 national healthcare experts for 2021 Gratitude Symposium, a month of virtual presentations meant to thank, teach, and inspire those in healthcare. Speakers covered a wide range of topics such as employee and physician engagement, patient experience, diversity, equity, and inclusion. More than 50,000 participants worldwide registered for the series.
Along with funded partners from Cradle Cincinnati and TriHealth, Jill’s video presentation, Reaching Beyond Hospital Walls to Reduce Health Disparities, focused on how bi3 fostered collaboration across sectors and competitive healthcare systems to develop a new model of care—addressing infant mortality and supporting maternal health. Cradle Cincinnati recently released their Annual Report that reveals 2020 saw record low infant mortality in Hamilton County including record low Black infant mortality. The team hopes by sharing successes and lessons, they can inspire and challenge other communities to come together to address health and racial equities in their local region.
