For the bi3 Fund, being a trust-based funder means continually reviewing our processes and engagement with the community we serve. This past April, we launched our Building Health Equity in Butler County Request for Proposals (RFP) – an opportunity to act on healthcare needs assessment findings and further strengthen our partnerships in that community.

Centering trust throughout the process takes time and effort. However, it better positions our new grantee partners for success and provides value to organizations that did not ultimately receive funding.
