OUR ADVOCACY FRAMEWORK
To create meaningful and sustainable improvements in community health, bi3 recognizes that policy must evolve alongside innovation. Government is a critical decision-maker and a major funder of healthcare and human services. That’s why bi3 leverages what we learn from our investments to inform and influence public policy.
We encourage elected and government leaders to think differently about health and healthcare, equipping them with insights, data, and stories from our work. Our advocacy is grounded in proven results, informed by trusted partners, and focused on systemic impact.
Our advocacy pillars
Engage in a nonpartisan & constructive way
We work respectfully with leaders across the political spectrum, always focusing on ideas, not ideology.
Advance an equity-centered approach
We center those most impacted by health disparities and ensure their voices inform our work and our asks.
Foster a collaborative spirit
We align with and amplify trusted partners, especially those with lived experience or deep policy expertise.
Be transparent & accountable
We are clear about our goals and roles, and we adapt based on feedback and evolving conditions.
Demonstrate courage & optimism
We embrace the discomfort and courage it takes to challenge the status quo for a healthier future.
