This year, 29 Cincinnati Public School (CPS) high school seniors graduated from TriHealth’s innovative School to Work (STW) program.
Of the 29 graduates, 95% have been accepted to college to pursue careers in healthcare. The graduating class collectively received more than $25,000 in scholarships to help support their future education.
This innovative program—a collaboration between TriHealth and CPS—gives high school juniors and seniors hands-on healthcare experience by rotating through various departments and clinical settings at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Since launching in 2019, more than 150 students have participated in the STW program, resulting in a growing number of high school students choosing to pursue careers in healthcare.
